New french member / new website
by jw-verite ini've been reading you for several months now and at last i decided to register !
i'm not sure if my post is in the good category so feel free to move it if it is not.... i'm french and i da'd in last november, losing my family by the way... i'm married and my wife is still in but our couple is still strong.. i still believe in the bible and i go from time to time in a baptist church.. i created a french website to expose the watchtower and its false teachings.
there is not a lot of websites like jwfacts in french so i tried to make it !.

if you thought the new kh design seemed commercial in nature, now imagine one of those halls turned into a jw store.

If you are single and have married friends, . . .
by compound complex inis your sense of loneliness (if you are lonely) heightened when you see what they share?
how do cope (if you are coping) with a sense of isolation, of not having a significant other?.
i know some single persons who are very happy as they are.

Bransch office sold in Sweden
by Bugbear innews i heard on the radio.
swedish branch office in arboga sold for 10 million us$ to the local community.
it is going to be a home for elderly people.

It was a home for elderly people eaven during the Bethel years...not everyone of them were transfered to Denmark.

All this new JW.org stuff is hurting my brain
by Nosferatu inso i just watched the singing cart video.
i literally cannot describe how i felt watching that.. growing up as a jw was serious business.
we had to take the preaching work seriously, watch our conduct, give a good witness by our actions, and be on our best behaviour to ensure we made it through the great tribulation.. when i was a child, i had dreams of being a cartoonist.

The official Tony Morris might be quite another than the real Tony Morris. I think there are a lote of jokes and pranks at Bethel. Probably they have had some laughs on the spanx thing.
The "Happy" video indicates that life at Bethel is nat always very strict.

The thing is, it was meant for a private audience and spreading it around is causing potential legal issues with the song copyright as well as the fact that we did not obtain releases from all the almost 900 participants who were in the video. Also, it might cause issues with our assignments here at Bethel, which would be heartbreaking. Therefore, we are requesting that you please inform everyone you notified as well as deleting all copies that you may have downloaded or been sent. Please do not post it or share it. He wasn't a guy with a camcorder.....he is one of the producers in a production team.
There were more than 900 people involved in making this video...there is no way that the leadership was unaware of the production of the video. So...I doubt that the participans in it will be having trouble with their assignements, but who knows.........they might need some scapegoats.
Yes, it was probably made for internal use....BUT..with 900 peoble involved it is almost impossible to keep such a pruduction secret...there will be sharings.....I am sure that the production teem knew about this...they cannot be that naive.
Anyhow, the funny thing is that this video might be one of the most popular ones made by the Watchtower...even very popular among the rank and file. Maybe it will reach the 800 000 wiewers at youtube that a certain sign language video had some years ago. :)

The video is very well produced. There has been a lot of work filming and editing that video. But mostley..there are more than 500 bethelites in that video.....that's not a small group. Of course someone up in yhe hierarchy must have known about the video being made and has given his OK to it. -
